trashercorpse: So, tell me a little more about Ars Macabra ?
arsmacabra: sure trashercorpse: In your words of course
arsmacabra: we started in 1999 and we had inspiration from grind and black metal
arsmacabra: we wanted to have the power of the crushing grind and the sinister sound of the black bands arsmacabra: but there werent any other extreem act in Italy at that time
arsmacabra: apart from bogus bands
arsmacabra: so our demo its kind of a proof of that violence at that time

trashercorpse: So, how many records have you got ?
arsmacabra: we got two full lenght arsmacabra: the first one "Daemonolatria Hypnotica"
arsmacabra: on an italian label is more cold and with a drum machine more in the vein of Diabolicum. arsmacabra: then we had a drummer
trashercorpse: And now with the drummer , that less industrial, i suppose ?
arsmacabra: yes, even if the industrial elements can get into the sound of a band then actually just because they have a drum machine
arsmacabra: if I use a drum machine then I want industrial sound and feeling otherwise to me an imitation of a drummer doesnt make any sense trashercorpse: yes , i understand this feeling ...
trashercorpse: It's better to record with a drummer
arsmacabra: the recording itself is a pain in the ass, cause a drum is a very hard intruments to play well in studio, expecially if they wanna be really precise on the production.
arsmacabra: I think nowdays the drum its too overrated in the scene, too much drumming extreeemness, some use too much trimming, thats cheating. drumming

trashercorpse: Can you talk about the last CD you done "hate Induced Trance" ?
arsmacabra: its done with a great producer, he is not well known but he is a man that can take out the feeling from a band. we had 9 tracks and in the writing turned out medium ling
arsmacabra: long I love that
arsmacabra: I wanted a sound that was warlike but without being flat and anonymous

trashercorpse: Are you the main guy in the band or did you work together in the composition of th album ? arsmacabra: the main guy now with the help on arranging songs by the drummer
arsmacabra: who also play guitar (not in the album)
arsmacabra: its printed under a canadian label
arsmacabra: only satanic bands belong to that label
arsmacabra: so the label owner says

trashercorpse: Have you played with some goods bands in your neighbourhood ?
arsmacabra: impaled nazarene dark funeral and other local act
arsmacabra: we went to play in belgium once
arsmacabra: then now we are looking for places possibly outside of italy
trashercorpse: ok, i think it was great to play with impaled Nazarene , no ?
arsmacabra: yea very they are really a good vibe band no fakes no gimmick
arsmacabra: just poure punk black metal violence I love them
arsmacabra: great attitude

trashercorpse: do you know some french bands ?
arsmacabra: Deathspell Omega,Antaeus,Vorkreist,Glorior belli.
trashercorpse: yesss, these are good bands but i don"t know glorior belli
arsmacabra: I think they are kinda of underground
trashercorpse: very underground so
arsmacabra: I like also mutilation, arkhon infaustus

trashercorpse: Hope you will play in france one day , maybe or in other northern european countries arsmacabra: we hope too I love France
arsmacabra: but I dont think French people like much Italians LOL
arsmacabra: wel I hope they do
